HELIA-D INTERNATIONAL ACCREDITATION

Helia-D International Health and Beauty Training College was founded in 1996 and is accredited nationally and internationally. Helia-D has transferred accreditation HET status from the Department of Higher Education to FET Service Seta and is internationally with ITEC.

COUNCIL ON HIGHER EDUCATION/DEPARTMENT OF HIGHER EDUCATION & TRAINING

The South African Council on Higher Education (CHE) is an independent statutory body responsible for advising the Minister of Education on all matters related to higher education policy issues, and for quality assurance in higher education and training. Helia-D International was registered and accredited by CHE in 2008. Helia-D International has transferred HET to FET with Service Seta.

HELIA-D WAS ALSO ACCFEDIITED WITH THE DEPARTMENT OF HIGHER EDUCATION ACCREDITATION NUMBER - 2010/ HE07 /008 TRANSFERRED TO SERVICE SETA IN 2012/3.

 

• ITEC

INTERNATIONAL THERAPY EXAMINATION COUNCIL

ITEC is nationally and internationally accredited examining body in Health and Skincare Therapy Diplomas/ Modular Diplomas available. ITEC is established in over 30 countries worldwide and is an UK based company. ITEC certificates and diplomas offer excellent opportunities for employment for students nationally and internationally.

In order for students to obtain the ITEC Qualifications, students must qualify in Helia-D International examinations, complete case studies and experiential hours. Students are encouraged to enter into ITEC for international accreditation however do so at an additional cost, which will be available on request. International Exams are moderated externally by ITEC.

 

LEARNING FACILITIES

Helia-D Head Office is located centrally in Randburg near all the amenities and bus routes for ease of transport for the students. A Safe and tranquil environment is provided with CCTV and security. Parking for students is available inside the premises. Students receive individual attention throughout the entire year and are assessed according to the amount of students and on an International level, on a continuous basis.
